George’s tenure as a senior executive includes leading companies employing as many as 3,000 employees. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. George holds the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant.

Ms Lawton has over 25 year’s extensive experience in all aspects of accounting; financial, statutory and management reporting; treasury; strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting; systems design and implementation; tax planning and compliance; and mergers and acquisitions. She has led organizations through stages of transformation including international sales, mergers and acquisitions and successfully achieved turnarounds, improving working capital and eliminating debt. Her professional experience includes roles as CFO of Cerelia North America, Vice President, Finance at Sierra Systems Group, Vice President Finance at WebTech Wireless (TSX: WEW), and Vice President, Finance at Seacor Environmental Inc. Ms. Lawton has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Natal, Durban. She articled with Ernst & Young in South Africa before moving to Canada and holds a CPA, CMA designation.
